Tackle one of the toughest 24-hour mountain challenges in the UK: summit all 15 Welsh peaks over 3,000 ft in Eryri National Park in under 24 hours.Starting on the Snowdon Massif (often via Crib Goch ridge for the classic route), traverse the rugged Glyderau (including Tryfan's scrambling), then push north across the vast Carneddau to finish on Foel-fras. This epic south-to-north (or reverse) route demands relentless pace, technical scrambling (Grade 1 on Crib Goch/Tryfan), navigation in potential poor visibility, and endurance across rocky ridges, steep descents, and boggy plateaus.A true test of physical, mental, and logistical resilience – ideal preparation for National 3 Peaks or longer ultras. Complete it for the huge achievement, completion medal, and certificates!

The Welsh 3000s is an extreme endurance challenge with high exposure (Crib Goch ridge), technical scrambling, long hours without support, and risk of fatigue, hypothermia, or injury. It requires proven experience on long mountain days, scrambling, navigation, and self-sufficiency.This is not suitable for beginners or those without multi-peak ultra experience. Contact us in advance for mandatory suitability checking, training advice, and to discuss your fitness/history. We perform final weather/condition checks before start; if unsafe (e.g., storms, high winds, poor visibility), we may modify, shorten, or cancel sections. Kit inspection at meet point – inadequate equipment results in refusal (pre-event advice given).
